Breakfast benefits Katrina victims
WABASHA — St. Felix, St. Agnes and Immaculate Conception Catholic churches in Wabasha will sponsor "Dad’s Belgian Waffles," a breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sunday at St. Felix Auditorium in Wabasha.
The event will feature a live bald eagle presentation by the National Eagle Center at 9 a.m. and a performance by St. Felix Children’s Choir at 10 a.m.
Proceeds will benefit Hurricane Katrina victims of St. Clare Parish in Waveland, Miss.
Tickets are $6 in advance, $7 at the door, and children 5 and younger are free.

Freedom, healing topics of school
The Jonathan House will sponsor "Freedom and Healing Through Deliverance," a 10-week modular school designed to help Christians gain freedom and healing in their lives.
Courses will be held at 7 p.m. at the Ramada Inn, 1517 16th St. S.W. in Rochester.
Each session will begin with a time of worship, a 45- to 60-minute message, and time for questions and answers, and a ministry prayer time for each evening’s subject.
There is no charge, but an offering will be taken. The first class will be Jan. 22 with the following schedule:

Forum on mental health planned
The Adult Forum at Christ Church will be held Sunday, and will feature the theme "Think Together About Our Mental Health."
The speaker will be Pat Carlson, executive director of Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center.
Everyone is welcome to think together about a common health concern, and a new facility in which to discover helpful care.
Service of Installation set

The Congregational Church United Church of Christ of Rochester will hold a Service of Installation for the Rev. Ronald Meyer at 3 p.m. Sunday .
The Rev. Meyer began his ministry as senior minister at The Congregational Church in October 2007.
Prior to that, he served as senior minister at Parkway UCC, Minneapolis, since 1989.
