13-year-old caught at wheel

Rochester police stopped a vehicle being driven erratically early this morning and found a 13-year-old boy at the wheel.

Police Lt. John Edwards said the incident occurred near the intersection of 12th Street and Third Avenue Southeast about 2:15 a.m. today.

Edwards said police discovered the vehicle had been stolen a short time earlier from a downtown parking ramp. The teen was released to his parents.
