AMC auxiliary funds scholarships
With the fall semester already started at Riverland Community College, the Austin Medical Center Auxiliary is reminding people that it funds scholarships through memorials.
For more than 60 years, the auxiliary has awarded scholarships to students enrolled in medical-related fields.
Recent memorials were for Adelaide E. Holton, Luella Olson and Arthur Johnson.
Memorials and donations to the fund can be mailed to AMC Auxiliary, 1001 First Drive N.W., Austin, 55912. They also can be taken to the medical center’s coffee shop.
