• The Parenthood Club: 9:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., for ages zero to five years. Held on Wednesdays through April 23. Club "benefits" include activity time with your child, parent discussion and time to connect with other parents. Don’t miss this chance to spend time with your child while learning new parenting skills and ideas.

• PAIIR for Daycare Providers: 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., for ages zero to five years. Held Mondays through May 12. Enjoy some constructive playtime with your child, followed by a separate parent discussion. Discussion will focus on such issues as having time and energy for your own family at the end of your working day, how much should your children be asked to share and how and if you should respond to your daycare children in the same way as your own. This class can be used for in-service credit.

Heloise says

To get rid of the ballpoint ink from clothing you launder, place the garment on a towel stain-side down. Lightly dampen a cloth with rubbing alcohol and gently dab (do not rub) the stain. For more hints from Heloise, go to Page XX.
