Clue No. 1: The festing tradition, Ezekiel’s vision, Pythagoras, one score and five. All point to our shining, the argent we’re mining. Shine On! The fest comes alive. This city’s lost treasure can only be measured by gemstones so preciously garnished. Topaz, Opal and Pearl-y, or the Emerald, surely, our heraldry tincture untarnished. To connect all these dots, you’ll spend time with the lots and I’ll find myself tired and exhausted. There’s two out of place in my ‘hood hiding space near the trail and the wildlife accosted.

The treasure is an object, related to Rochester or Fest history, hidden somewhere in the city of Rochester, on public property (but not on a golf course and not disruptive to business) in plain sight and accessible to all. Search, but please respect the natural beauty of Rochester. Each day’s clue will bring you closer to the treasure’s location, and will detail what it is as well as where it is.
