The Rochester Police Department got a surprise during the traffic stop of an 18-year-old man.

A strong smell of marijuana led officers to search the vehicle. They found a number of plastic bags containing marijuana in the central console and under the passenger seat. In total, 198 grams of marijuana and $1,300 in cash were recovered.

The driver now faces felony drug charges in addition to a misdemeanor going-through-a-red light charge.
