$2,400 in handguns reported stolen

EYOTA — Ten loaded handguns were reported stolen from a nightstand in an Eyota home between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday.

The home is in the 100 block of South Madison. The homeowner said he returned and discovered the handguns, valued at $2,400, were missing. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office said the homeowner thought there was sign of forced entry, though deputies didn’t find any indication of it.
