Austin Duplicate Bridge

Bonnie Fritz and Dave Ring came in first in the north-south division Wednesday of duplicate bridge play.

Janis Borum and Romelle Enderson took first in the east-west division.

Other north-south placings were Dick Hansen and Larry Crowe in second followed by Eunice Michaelis and Warren Behrends in third.

Bud Higgins and Loren Cleland took second in the east-west division. John Allen and Dave Solomonson came in third.


Seven tables of bridge were played for the group’s Christmas party.

Duplicate bridge is played at 1 p.m. Wednesdays at the Twin Towers in downtown Austin. Everyone is welcome.

Country Club Bridge

Arlean Quackenbush took first place Wednesday in bridge play at Austin Country Club.

Sue Mann came in second.

On Dec. 12, Gail Nelson won first in bridge play.

Quackenbush took second followed by Rosie Seltz in third place. Two tables of bridge were played.
