DRESBACH — Searchers from about 10 city, county and state agencies in two states are expected to resume searching early today for a LaCrosse, Wis., duck hunter who fell out of his boat late Tuesday below the Dresbach Lock and Dam.

They were out until about 2:30 a.m. today, said Winona County Chief Deputy Ron Ganrude looking for Raymond Joe Slaback, 63.

The sheriff’s department said three people were in the boat when it capsized about 6:30 p.m. in strong winds. Two of the people got to shore safely. Slaback, however, is missing.

Searchers included those from Winona, Houston and LaCrosse counties, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Campbell and Brice Prairie in Wisconsin, and Dakota. In all, about 50 searchers were on the river looking for the man, he said.
