Rochester couple wed 50 years
Donna and Lowell Gilbertson of Rochester will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday. They were married July 2, 1959, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kasson.

Fundraising is underway to move the giant ball of twine from the Highland, Wisconsin, home of creator James Frank Kotera, who died last month at age 75, 44 years after starting the big ball.
