Workers to demonstrate at QPP
Centro Campesino has announced it will hold a "peaceful public demonstration" in front of Quality Pork Processors in Rochester, 711 Hormel Century Parkway.
Organizers say the demonstration will support workers affected by progressive inflammatory neuropathy, or PIN, an illness first detected at QPP in Austin and later at two other plans in Nebraska and Indiana.
Workers, family members and friends affected by the illness plan to gather outside QPP at 2 p.m. Saturday.
