The Pines will play in Lanesboro

LANESBORO — The Pines, a roots-music duo with deep roots in the Upper Midwest, will perform at 8 p.m. Nov. 15 at the St. Mane Theatre in Lanesboro.

The Pines are Iowa natives David Huckfelt and Benson Ramsey, who actually began playing music together while living in Arizona.

They are now based in Minneapolis.

The music of the Pines will be familiar to listeners who have heard Bob Dylan’s recent albums — folk, rock, blues and country, all sounding vaguely familiar but entirely new.

Tickets are $12 for members of the Lanesboro Art Council, $15 for non-members, and can be reserved at (507) 467-2787 or by e-mail at tickets@lanesboroartcouncil.org.
