Art lecture set for Nov. 16
Rochester Friends of Minneapolis Institute of Art will host a lecture Nov. 16 at the Rochester Golf & Country Club.
The speaker will be Jennifer Carlquist, cultural assistant of decorative arts at the institute.
Coffee is at 10 a.m., followed by the lecture at 10:30 a.m. The public is welcome.
Jazz pianist performs Nov. 17

RED WING — Jazz pianist, composer and arranger Larry McDonough will perform solo versions of music in concert Nov. 17 at Blue Moon, 427 West Third St. in Red Wing.
McDonough has performed with legendary saxophonist and composer Benny Golson, trombonist Fred Wesley and trumpeter Duane Eubanks, as well as a who’s who of local jazz artists. Music runs from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
