Olmsted County Sheriff's deputies were called to two crashes Monday night that resulted in multiple people being hospitalized.
Deputies were called about 8 p.m. Monday to the intersection of Olmsted County Road 9 and Olmsted County Road 10 Northeast in Dover Township for a report of a two vehicle accident.
A vehicle eastbound on Olmsted County Road 9 slowed but did not stop at a stop sign and continued through the intersection with Olmsted County Road 10 Northeast when it was struck by a vehicle northbound on County Road 10, according to Olmsted County Sheriff's Capt. Scott Behrns.
Four people suffered significant injuries in the crash. One was airlifted to the hospital while the three others were taken by ambulance.
Deputies were called about 11:40 p.m. to the intersection of 50th Avenue and Olmsted County Road 21 Northeast in Farmington Township for a report of single vehicle crash, according to Behrns.
A 23-year-old woman drove off the roadway and into a plowed field at the northwest corner of the intersection, according to Behrns. The woman was taken by ambulance to the hospital after complaining of arm pain. A 3-year-old child in the vehicle appeared to be fine, Behrns said.
