WINONA — Three cars crashed at the intersection of Gilmore Avenue and U.S. Highway 61 in Winona on Thursday.

A 2000 Ford Ranger driven by David Paul Kilgore, 77, of Lyle, was heading north on Highway 61 at 4:11 p.m. Thursday when he turned left onto Gilmore Avenue and collided with a 2013 Toyota Sienna driven by Ellen Renee Jewison, 38, of Winona. The Ford was then pushed into a 2007 Jeep Liberty driven by Gina Louise Cherny, 53, of Winona, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.

Neither Jewison nor either of her passengers – Claire Renee Jewison, 9, or Lauren Emily Jewison, 12, both also of Winona – were injured.

Killgore and his passenger, Joan Marie Kilgore, 71, of Austin, were taken to Winona Health with non-life threatening injuries. Cherny also received non-life threatening injuries but was not transported for medical care. No updates on their conditions were available.

The Winona County Sheriff's Office also responded.
