Austin High will host a pair of concurrent volleyball camps in the latter part of June.

The Pacesetter volleyball camp will take place from June 20-22 at the AHS gym. The Austin Packers players and volleyball staff will then host a one-day camp on Saturday, June 23.

Pacesetter Sports was created in 1980 to offer high-quality, low cost programs for players in outstate areas. The Pacesetter camp will run from 9:30 a.m. to noon daily and is for all girls in grades 9-12. This camp is limited to the first 24 players to register.

All players will receive a strong program of teaching and work on the fundamentals by going through drills which simulate game situations. Registration forms are available at the Austin High activities office. Interested players and parents can also call Pacesetter directly at (320) 243-7460.

The one-day clinic offered by members of the Packers will be for the younger girls in grades 5-8. This will be held from 9 a.m to noon.

Parents are encouraged to attend this camp during the final half hour. The cost is $20 and the registration deadline is June 11. Sign-up forms are available at the high school.
