The experiences of a ball-turret gunner will be the subject of the November meeting of the Scott Hosier World War II Roundtable on Monday.
Earl Joswick, who flew in B-17s with the Eighth Air Force over Europe, is the guest speaker. Joswick was shot down over Munich, Germany, on his 14th mission and was held at Stalag Luft IV prisoner-of-war camp. In the winter of 1945, he survived a forced march, known as the Black March, before being liberated by British troops.
The evening starts with live 1940s-era music at 6:30 p.m., followed by the program at 7 p.m. at Rochester Assembly of God Church, 4240 18th Ave. N.W.
There is a suggested donation of $3 for admission. For more information, call Tom Brinkman at 287-1021.
