The Rochester Eagles Legion baseball team finished sixth at the St. Cloud Tournament over the weekend.
On Saturday, the Eagles lost their first game against Alexandria, but rebounded with a win over the St. Cloud 76’ers.
Against Alexandria, Mike Glasenapp took the loss as the Eagles lost 10-2. Defensively, the Eagles committed eight errors, and at the plate they only managed four hits.
Henry Rownd had a pair of hits and scored twice.

The Eagles then beat St. Cloud 5-4.
Andrew Verdick went seven innings to get the win, allowing four runs and striking out five.
At the plate, Todd Bestgen went 3-for-3 with a double, triple and two RBIs.
On Sunday, the Eagles lost 11-3 to the Apple Valley 76’ers.
Rownd suffered the loss on the mound, working on one day of rest.
"We had a good weekend," Eagles coach Doug Hudson said. "We played some bigger teams, and we were competitive, winning two games. This is our best showing ever in this tournament."
The Eagles host Austin at John Adams Middle School at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
