HAYFIELD — The graveside service for Andrew A. Uhrmann will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Maple Grove Cemetery in Kasson.
Andrew Alexander Uhrmann, 71, died Tuesday (April 7, 2009) at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield.
He was born May 15, 1937, to Andrew and Esther (Schmunk) Uhrmann, in Monterey Park, Calif. He lived in the Los Angeles area and worked as a machinist for McDonnell Douglas, and later for Air Research. Following his retirement, he moved to Minnesota to be near family. He enjoyed murder mysteries on television and spending time with his family.
Mr. Uhrmann is survived by sons, Gary of Dodge Center and Steven of Los Angeles; a daughter, Randi Fate of Claremont; three grandchildren, Erin, Nathan and Kerstie; three great-grandsons, Damion, Kaiden and Collin; brother, Fritz of Big Bear, Calif.; and an aunt, Irene Freese of Upland, Calif.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Friday at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center.
