Apartment entered with stolen keys, says woman

A Rochester woman said another woman broke into her apartment after stealing her keys late Tuesday.

The 23-year-old woman told Rochester police she was at a downtown pub when she began walking back to her car. Another woman came up to her and tried to grab her purse. The first woman resisted, but dropped her keys. By the time she got home, someone had broken into her apartment, but didn't take much, she told police.

The woman who took the keys is described as white, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 170 pounds, with blond hair and wearing an Old Navy sweatshirt.

The robbery happened about 10 p.m.
