Applications sought for Beat the Odds grants

Applications are being accepted for Beat the Odds scholarships, which are given to students who have overcome challenges to graduate.

Recipients must be seniors in high school, graduating in the spring, with plans to attend a post-secondary institution. Four area students will receive $2,500 each to attend a post-secondary institution of their choice. Four other students will be selected to receive $1,000 each.
