AREA GRADUATIONS Lincoln High

LAKE CITY -- The commencement exercises for Lincoln Junior-Senior High School will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the school's gym.

Valedictorians are Natalie Rigelman and Aaron Schumacher.

Rigelman, daughter of Kerby and Charlene Rigelman, is an honor student, a member of National Honor Society and a recipient of the Patton Award of Lincoln High. She is president of student council and has played in concert, pep, jazz and field bands. She's a member of the color guard and participated in Target Team and Peer Helper program. She plays organ at Christ Episcopal Church in Old Frontenac, works at Dairy Queen and lifeguards at the Lake City pool. She plans to attend St. Olaf College in Northfield where she will be in the pre-med program.

Schumacher, son of Randall and Doris Schumacher, is an honor student and member of the National Honor Society. He is active in jazz, pep, concert and marching bands, choir and Madrigals, theater, football, wrestling, and the Lake City Education Foundation. He plans to attend Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., and major in business management and music.

Perpich Center For Arts Education-Arts High

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Perpich Center for Arts Education-Arts High School's graduation ceremony will be at 4 p.m. Friday in the Ted Mann Concert Hall at the University of Minnesota. About 150 students from Minnesota will be graduating, including Rochester residents William Darby and Kelsey Marino.
