CALEDONIA -- The condition of the Hokah deer hunter accidentally shot while hunting Nov. 26 has been upgraded to fair.
Steven Duane Eisenhuth, 48, was taken to Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wis., after the shooting, which was reported at 5:08 p.m. in Mound Prairie Township in the northern part of the Houston County.
Houston County Chief Deputy Ken Frank said the case was reviewed by the county attorney, and no charges will be filed.
