ROCHESTER — Arlene Dighton, 84, of Rochester, died Saturday (Nov. 1, 2008) at her home.
Arlene Mae Moser was born Oct. 14, 1924, in Manchester, Iowa. She graduated from Oneida High School in 1942. On Sept. 25, 1944, she married Gladwin Merle Dighton. The couple made their home in Manchester. Mr. Dighton died in 1987. In 1990 she moved to Rochester to be nearer family. She enjoyed painting ceramics, bowling, and other crafts.
Survivors include her daughter, Roxanne (Fred) Ziecina of Rochester; two granddaughters; and a brother, Leonard (Karen) Moser of Mansfield, Texas. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
