Austin High School students David Albino, Tana Lukes and Enki Fernandez recently were named the art department’s March Artists of the Month.
David Albino, 12th grade, is the son of Susan Palma of Austin. David Albino plans to attend Riverland Community College to earn an associate in fine arts degree in theater arts — his other passion — and hopes to continue on to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design or Julliard in New York City.
Tana Lukes, 12th grade, is the daughter of Brad and Toni Lukes of Austin. Tana Lukes plans on attending Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., to major in pre-med.
Enki Fernandez, 11th grade, is the son of Maria Fernandez of Austin. Enki plans to become a better artist, a pro snowboarder, BMX architect and a construction manager.
