MINNEAPOLIS -- A new Hennepin County judge is the first Asian-American woman to be appointed to a district judgeship in Minnesota.
Regina Chu, 48, was among three new Hennepin County district judges sworn in Monday. All are Minneapolis lawyers. The other new judges are Steven Pihlaja and Mel Dickstein.
