At the buzzer — Time running out for Wild

Tick tock, tick tock. The clock is winding down on the Minnesota Wild and their postseason hopes.

The Wild face an elimination game tonight in Colorado. The Avalanche lead the best-of-seven series 3-2. The Wild have been in 3-2 series deficits twice before and come back to win.

But this year? The odds seem stacked against the Wild. Their best offensive player (Marian Gaborik) is in a scoreless funk and the Colorado goalie (Jose Theodore) has been a standout in the nets.

The bottom line? After tonight, the Wild can put away the sticks and pick up their golf clubs.
