Austin police say they are still investigating a theft of $15,000 worth of jewelry taken from an apartment building in the 300 block of North Main Street earlier this month.
Austin Police Chief Paul Philipp said the theft was reported April 6, and the victim suspects a tenant broke into her apartment and took the jewelry and some birth certificates from a safe.
