The annual Dare to Care event will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Hormel Nature Center.
Dare to Care, sponsored by the Children Are the Responsibility of Everyone Council, features events that are nonviolent and kid-friendly. Events include gunny sack races, penny pitching, bottle-ring games, horse and wagon rides and more. All of the events are free, and pop, pizza and popcorn will be for sale.
