AUSTIN EDITION Austin boys hockey is the second seed in the upcoming Section One, Class A tournament and received a first-round bye.

Albert Lea is the top seed in the section; Mankato East got the third spot, Marshall fourth, and New Ulm fifth. All of the top five seeds in the section got a bye out of Tuesday night's first-round games.

The Austin Packers host a quarterfinal game at 7 p.m Thursday. The winner of the first-round matchup between 10th-seeded Sleepy Eye and seven-seeded Waseca will come to Riverside Arena on Thursday night.

The section semifinals will then be on Saturday afternoon at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter.
