AUSTIN EDITION Austin High girls basketball coach Gary Peterson held one of his summer sharpshooter camps at the end of June. This was for girls in grades 5-6, and there were a total of 24 participants at the camp.

Individual award winners included Danielle Hanson as the Lightning champion; Kristine Snyder the pressure free throw champ; Christine Barinka for the Great Effort award; Gabrielle Wagner for the Great Attitude award; Jenna Svoboda was the shooting runner-up; and Stephanie Justice was the shooting champion.

The next sharpshooter camp for girls in grades 1-4 will be held on July 17-21. For more information on this upcoming camp, contact coach Peterson at (507) 437-7743.
