A 44-year-old Austin man told police he might have been the victim of an Internet scam.
Behren Lindahl told police he sent two money orders totaling $7,630 to purchase a Harley-Davidson motorcycle from someone on the Internet.
According to the report, the man found the bike on eBay and got in contact with the seller, who was reportedly in Greece.
Lindahl sent the first money order via Western Union on Monday and the second on Tuesday. Lindahl told police he now is not able to contact the seller.
