The Austin School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. today in the Austin City Council chambers.
Agenda items include transportation contracts for this school year and next school year; breakfast and lunch prices for this year; extended field trips for this year; personnel contracts; and a day-treatment handbook.
The board will consider setting Dec. 2 for its Truth in Taxation hearing and Dec. 9 for a hearing to adopt the property tax levy.
A first reading of policies regarding community education, visitors to district buildings and sites, advertising, school board officers, and community notification of predatory offenders is planned.
