Those with the talent for calling their spouse or a hog can show off their skills tonight at the Mower County Fair.
At 6 p.m. a hog-calling contest is set to happen near the fair office. The half-hour competition will be followed by a spouse-calling contest from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the same spot.
The contests are part of a series of old-fashioned competitions added this year to the fair. Others include a watermelon-seed-spitting contest that occurred Tuesday and a pie-eating contest set for 4:30 p.m. Friday.
