ST. CLOUD -- The city of St. Cloud will be back in the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce after a group of business leaders passed the hat to pay for part of the city's membership dues.
City membership appeared to be in jeopardy this month after the chamber rejected a reduced payment from the city. City leaders said they paid $1,600 instead of the $1,900 due because of budget cuts.
Chamber President Teresa Bohnen said a chamber group made of executives from large companies collected the $300 difference Thursday to keep the city in the chamber.
