AUSTIN EDITION COL Alzheimer's group meets Thurs.

The Alzheimer's Support Group meets from 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday at the senior center. This is part of the advocacy program, and the public is invited. For more information, call the 433-3462.

Pancakes served Sunday

There will be an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast Sunday at the center. For $3.50, you get two sausages, juice, syrup, coffee or milk and as many pancakes as you can eat.

Political forum tonight

The American Association of University Women will host a political forum from 6:30 p.m. to 10 tonight.


Dance is Tuesday

The Halloween dance will be from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. LaVerne's Concertina Band will play. The cost is $4 a person. There will be a costume contest and birthday cake; the center will have coffee and sandwiches available for purchase.

Semcac lunch, supper

There will be a double-header for Semcac Senior Dining on Wednesday: soup and sandwich at 11:30 a.m. and pork roast at 5 p.m. Reservations are needed. The cost is $2.75 for those 60 and older and $4.50 for others. The meals are open to the public. Here's the week's menu:

Tuesday: Beef stew.

Wednesday: Soup and sandwich for lunch; pork roast for supper.

Thursday: Swiss steak.

Friday: BBQ meatballs
