The U.S. Department of Agriculture is taking nominations for candidates to serve on local Farm Service Agency committees.
Almost anyone of legal voting age participating in a local FSA program can be nominated, either by themselves or someone else.
Nominations must be received in the Mower Soil and Water Conservation District office, 101 21st St. N.E., or postmarked by Aug. 1. Voting will take place between Nov. 4 and Dec. 5. For more information, call 434-2603.
