A free clinic to teach people how to correctly install and use child safety seats will be held from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 2 in the parking lot of the Elrod and Green dental office at 800 1st Ave. S.W.
To schedule a child safety seat inspection, call 437-8208. Each inspection takes about 20 minutes. More than 75 percent of child safety seats inspected during car-seat clinics are found to be incorrectly installed.
