AUSTIN EDITION - Jaycees to haunt the fairgrounds in free carnival Sat.

Ghouls and goblins will haunt a building at the Mower County Fairgrounds this weekend.

The Ghouls and Goblins Carnival, sponsored by the Austin Jaycees, will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the fairgrounds' 4-H Building. The carnival is free.

The activities are geared for children ages 2 to 8, but a child of any age is welcome to attend, preferably with a parent. The first 50 children to arrive Saturday wearing costumes will get gifts. There will be games, prizes, crafts, treats and a hay ride.
