GRAND MEADOW -- Monnier Transportation Inc. of Grand Meadow reported that about $3,000 was stolen from the business during the weekend, according to Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi.
There was no forced entry. An employee reported a set of keys had been moved, Amazi said. The keys were probably used to get into the office, where the money was stored in a desk drawer, she said.
Authorities have a suspect, Amazi said.
