Pacelli High School choir members received two Best in Site awards during the March 16 solo and small ensemble contest at Riverland Community College in Austin.
LYRIX, the women's ensemble for Pacelli High School, received one of the awards after getting a perfect score of 40. The group's members include Laura Enstad, Gabby Langan, Chelsey Roberts, Livja Burke, Merissa Kittleson, Anna Bergstrom, Carmen Smith, Jessica Snyder and Ashley Dooley.
Chris Bergstrom, a senior, won the other award for tenor solo. Bergstrom previously received a Best in Site award as a sophomore.
Best in Site awards are given to individuals picked by judges as having the best performance of the day.
Out of 16 entries, Pacelli choir members got 14 superior ratings, with two of them being perfect scores.
