A Rose Creek man faces a felony assault charge for allegedly punching an Austin man in the face Friday night at the Riverside Arena parking lot.
Jason Dean Wiedemann, 21, is charged in Mower District Court with third-degree assault for allegedly causing substantial bodily harm to a 24-year-old man, records show.
An arrest warrant was issued Tuesday for Wiedemann.
The alleged victim told police he went to the arena's lot, 401 Second Ave. N.E., to meet a 17-year-old girl, where he was confronted by Wiedemann, the girl's boyfriend, the complaint says.

Wiedemann allegedly tried punching the man several times before landing a punch to his face.
The injured man had a cut lip and two nasal fractures, the complaint stated.
