Want to know how the teenage brain works? A free community presentation Sept. 28 could provide some answers.
The Austin School District will host guest speaker David Walsh, psychologist, educator, family therapist, author, speaker, husband and father of three.
Walsh is one of the leading authorities in North America on family life, parenting, and the impact of media on children.
Walsh is the author of several books; his latest is "Why Do they Act That Way: A Survival Guide to the Adolescent Brain for You and Your Teen."
He will give three presentations, two of them for professionals, at the auditorium in Ellis Middle School. The public presentation will begin at 7 p.m.
