AUSTIN EDITION - Target donates trees to the needy

Four decorated Christmas trees were donated Monday to people in need through the Austin Target store's Share-A-Tree program.

The trees were taken from the store floor and delivered to the homes of needy people identified by the American Red Cross and the Mower Council for the Handicapped.

Target also donated six undecorated trees to the United Way. Deserving families were chosen by other United Way agencies, and those trees will be picked up today.
