Authorities arrested two men Tuesday night after allegedly finding methamphetamine during a traffic stop in Mapleview.
A 50-year-old Austin man and a 37-year-old man from Owatonna were arrested about 10:45 p.m. after a Mower County Sheriff's deputy found a glass pipe, metal spoon, powdery substance and syringe containing a liquid, Sheriff Terese Amazi said. The liquid and powder tested positive for meth, she said.
Police stopped the vehicle on Graham Street in Mapleview because the Austin man drove through a stop sign, Amazi said. Authorities searched the car after arresting him for driving after cancellation, she said.
The Owatonna man was arrested for having access to the meth, she said.
