Fellowship United Methodist Church, 1811 Seventh Ave. S.E., sustained damage to two windows during a break-in, Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi said.
The person or persons broke two windows and was able to open one of them to enter the building, she said. However, nothing was reported missing or damaged inside the church.
The crime occurred between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, Amazi said.
It is the first reported church crime since a string of six break-ins in June.
