What are the biggest challenges facing the city of Austin now and for the near future?

The budget and taxes should always be the primary concern of city government.

What do you want residents to know about how you would work with the city council regarding the city budget and tax levy?

A mayor must work with the council. Together they must find out from citizens what they want and deliver it in the most cost-effective manner.

What makes you stand out as the best candidate for mayor?

My background, I have always worked in a team environment: Marines and police. I bring this to the council. As a police officer, I have seen every aspect of Austin.
