ROCHESTER -- The funeral for Ava B. Harvey will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Ranfranz &; Vine Funeral Homes in Rochester. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Harvey, 102, of Spring Park, Minn., formerly of Rochester, died Monday (Aug. 28, 2006) at the Presbyterian Home in Spring Park.
Ava Cunningham was born Feb. 20, 1904, in Viola, where she grew up. On Feb. 21, 1920, she married Clyde F. Harvey. They farmed near Elgin until moving to Rochester in 1945. Her husband died in 1965, and she later moved to Spring Park in 1989. She was a homemaker and also worked at the YWCA and J.C. Penney. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and a past member of the Eastern Star. She was an organist and pianist, and enjoyed traveling, especially to Ireland.
Survivors include a son, Roy (Donna) of Dolan Springs, Ariz.; a daughter, Elaine (Roger) Ranfranz of Pequot Lakes, Minn.; 14 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son and six brothers.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
