BEMIDJI, Minn. -- All James Edelman wanted was a beer -- and now it looks like he could get it.
But some Lammers Township residents are afraid the opening of a liquor store in their town will bring in the sin.
"What's next out here in Lammers Township?" Ronald and Irene Pierce asked in a letter to the county board. "Adult bookstores and strip clubs? I certainly hope we are zoned against them."
Beltrami County commissioners approved an off-sale intoxicating liquor license this week for a liquor store.
