Bail set in Rochester assault case

From staff reports

Unconditional bail has been set at $30,000 for a Rochester man accused of physically and sexually assaulting a teenage girl who had run away from home.

Marcel Emile Derosier, 25, 1213 41⁄2 St. N.W., No. 1, is charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, and depriving another of custodial or parental rights, all felonies. He also is charged with misdemeanor fifth-degree assault, all from alleged conduct last weekend. Unconditional bail is set at $30,000, and conditional bail is set at $20,000. He returns to court Nov. 13.

Police were called by the mother of the girl, saying she had reason to believe her daughter was with Derosier. Police learned they were at a resident in southeast Rochester.

The complaint says the girl told officers that she had been forced into sexual conduct with Derosier after she had consumed alcohol. She said he physically assaulted her when she refused.
